Trail Lodge Tea Hits the Trail to Farmers' Markets
Now that spring has arrived, Trail Lodge Tea is busy visiting St. Louis area Farmer's Markets. We will be at Clayton Farmer's Market on Saturdays and be alternating between Webster Groves Market and Ellisville Market on Thursdays. Be sure to go to the Events page on our website to see which dates we will be attending the Markets. So come by and see us as at a local farmers' market. We will be serving up our delicious teas as either hot or iced (depending upon the weather) and you can pick up you favorite teas and tea accessories without having to pay for shipping. While you're at the market, be sure to check out all the other booths. You can get locally grown produce, beef, chicken, and eggs at the markets. I can't wait for the homegrown tomatoes and sugar snap peas to come in season. I hope to see you at the market.

Trail Lodge Tea Introduces Mexican Cocoa Rooibos
Trail Lodge Tea now has a new "charitea" that is also are own exclusive blend. It's called Mexican Cocoa Rooibos. You will feel like you are having a Mexican Fiesta when you sip this tea. It is made of a blend of rooibos and honeybush with just the right combination of chocolate, chili, and flavoring as well as other high quality ingredients. Trail Lodge tea is donating a portion of every sale of this tea to Ninos de Mexico. That's why we call it a "charitea". Ninos de Mexico is a wonderful Christian Mission that's main purpose is to help orphaned and at-risk children living in the Mexico City area. They do this by raising children in loving Christian homes and providing the children with medical care and education. The mission currently runs four homes for children, a medical clinic, and a private school. So you can enjoy some delicious tea and help disadvantaged children at the same time. Introducing 1/2 oz size packages
Trail Lodge Tea now offers most of our teas in 1/2 oz packages. They have been really popular at the farmer's market and at our shows. While the 2 oz and 4 oz packages are still the better value, these are a great choice to try new teas. They also make excellent gifts and stocking stuffers. You can make approximately 4 to 8 cups of tea from the 1/2 oz size.

It is a blended black tea that has a full bodied and smooth taste. For every 2 oz bag that is purchased, $2 will be donated to the World Bird Sanctuary. If you purchase a 4 oz bag, $4 will be donated. The World Bird Sanctuary is based in Valley Park, MO. The mission of this non-profit organization is to preserve the earth's biological diversity and to secure the future of threatened bird species in their natural environments.
